Vico Magistretti for Cassina, dining chairs model 'Villabianca', leather and wood, Italy, 1985

Designed by Vico Magistretti and produced by Cassina, this armchair shows strong shapes and lines. The frame features cylindrical legs on which the one piece of leather seating and armrests are attached. From the back legs the short armrests evolve. The decorative stitching in the seat enhances this dynamic design. A patina both on the leather and on the wooden frame adds a unique character to the chair.
