This luxurious and refined coffee table embraces an intricately etched brass tabletop complemented by bold, striking black legs. The top layer exhibits a mesmerizing pattern of flowing lines, encircling the agate centerpiece, while another layer surface presents various textured lines and forms.

In the 1970s a trend of decorative arts arose in Brussels. Key designers were Aldo Chale, Georges Mathias, Willy Daro, Lova Creation, Jean Claude Dresse and Christian Krekels worked in this style too. Their style was characterized by the use of gemstones as decorative element and the use of golden brass as primary color. The classical technique of etching was highly applied on their designs for coffee and cocktail tables.
