This unique tray table has a splendid construction consisting of a tray that is attached to the base with leather straps. The tray is equipped with handles allowing the user to serve the beverages and snacks in a comfortable and easy way. Additionally, Bjørn added two wooden platforms with differently sized holes. A nice detail are the wooden joints which show the high level of craftsmanship this serving table was made with. The top rests on elegantly build outward-facing legs and are adorned with brass at all ends, which gives this whole unit a luxury appeal.

Acton Bjørn (1910-1992) was a Danish designer and architect who was educated at the Art Academy in Copenhagen. He worked in Copenhagen for the majority of his career and led the Acton Bjørn studio between 1966 and 1990.
